If three is more than one unit of one type of equipment, the figures in Cells OLD and COST are the average. For example: a household has two water pumps: 3 and 5 years olds, cost 400,000/unit and 500,000/unit, then the average figure in the Cell OLD will be 4, and the figure in the Cell COST will be 450,000.
