This is the second STEPS conducted by Marshall Islands.
STEPS is a household-based survey to obtain core data on the established risk factors that determine the major burden of NCDs.

Scope
The following topics were included in the survey: tobacco use, alcohol consumption, diet, physical activity, history of raised blood glucose, history of raised blood pressure, history of raised total cholesterol, history of cardiovascular diseases, lifestyle advice, and cervical cancer screening. Additionally, the following measures were taken: blood pressure, height, weight, fasting blood glucose and total cholesterol. Finally, the following optional modules were included: oral health, violence and injury and cervical cancer.
