<p>The information you record in this section is for each household in a dwelling.</p>
<p><span class="em">2. Water facilities</span>
<br />Ask, "What type of water facilities are regularly available in the household?"</p>

<p>- Determine whether the household has a tap for its exclusive use.</p>
<p>- The option "tap for several households" refers to a tap located within the dwelling which is for use by two or more households.</p>
<p>- The option "public tap" refers to a tap located outside the dwelling in the street or alley, on the sidewalk or in the park, and for communal use.</p>

<p>- If the water is delivered determine if it is from a well, river, lake or spring, or a truck or barrel.</p>
<p>-The "other" option is for households that are supplied with water by means other than those in the previous options.
