<span class="h1">15. Extended questionnaire</span>
<br />This section of the questionnaire contains the questions you must apply in the households you have registered as: Single house on the land, house sharing land with other(s); duplex house; apartment in a building; housing unit in neighborhood or tenement and housing unit in the rooftop room of a building. That is, with classes 1 to 6 of private housing unit class.</p>

<br /><span class="ital">10. Electricity</span>
<br />This question distinguishes households based on whether or not they have electricity.</p>
<p>Read the question, listen to the answer, and select the appropriate code.</p>
<p>A housing unit is considered to have electricity if there is at least one light bulb that shines regularly, even if:</p>
<div class="i1">- At the time of the interview there is a fault, short, or blackout.<br />- Residents do not pay for the service or it is temporarily suspended.<br />- The housing unit does not have an electric meter.</div><p>Nor does it matter the source of the light, whether it comes from a private plant, a solar panel, the Federal Electricity Commission (FEC), or any other source or medium.</p>

<p><span class="ital">11. Lamps</span>
<br />With these two questions, we know the number of light bulbs used to light the house, as well as the amount of these that are energy-saving.</p>
<p>Read the first question and give the respondent time for their response, as accounting for lamps sometimes involves remembering where they are located.
<br />Register the number mentioned.</p>
<p>This includes light bulbs inside and outside the housing unit, on ceilings, walls, or lamps, regardless of type: incandescent, energy-saving, halogen, etc.</p>
<p>Then ask the second question, in which only energy-saving bulbs are counted.</p>

<p>Verify that the number of energy-saving light bulbs is equal to or less than the total amount of light bulbs in the housing unit.</p>
<p>If the housing unit does not have energy-saving light bulbs, register 0.</p>
