<br />- Record the independent code ''1''. That is, an individual who works for themselves (on their own behalf) and who does not have employees they pay but who possibly can be helped by family or apprentices.
<br />- Record Code ''2'' for an employer. An employer is a person who employs one or more employees that they pay in cash or in kind or both at the same time.
<br />- Record Code ''3'' for employee/permanent employee. This is the case for an individual who works for a private or public employer and who receives remuneration (a salary or commissions in cash or in kind) on a regular basis.
