<br />This question concerns people aged 1 year and older.
<br />The place of residence (for at least 6 months) of a person one year ago is the place where that person lived a year ago; that is to say in October 2012 (if the collection is held in October 2013).
<br />Ask the question ''Where was [the respondent] a year ago?'' (or: ''Where did [the respondent] live in October 2012?'' According to the answer, write legibly, if it is a locality of Senegal, the name of the municipality/rural community of residence 1 year ago if it is known or the name of the arrondissement of the department or region otherwise. For those who resided outside Senegal one year ago, enter the name of the country. This is the usual residence in October 2012.
<br /><span class="ital">Attention: </span>Do not confuse ''place of residence a year ago'' and ''place of residence in the last 12 months''.
<br /><span class="ital">NB: </span>On the PDA, you will choose the answer on a drop-down list.
