Definition
This variable indicates the year of allotment, Indian schedules. The modified schedule used to enumerate American Indians contained a field labeled "If Indian has received allotment, give year of allotment." Enumerator instructions indicated that "if the Indian has received an allotment of land, enter, in column 44, the year in which the allotment was made."
