<p><span class="h3">Part 3: Information about housing</span>
<br />The DTV collects information about the housing situation of the household. Do not collect housing information for specific demographics.</p>
<p><span class="em">Question 50: Does your household have a house?</span>
<br />The DTV observes to determine whether the household has a house (regardless of whether the household has ownership of the house or not). In the event that the DTV either cannot observe or clearly determine, they should ask the DTDT to determine the information for Question 50.</p>

<p>A household is defined as having a house if the household lives in a building consisting of 3 elements: walls, roof, and floor. In case a household's residence is a boat house on a river or a lake which has all 3 elements: walls, roof, and floor; then that household is considered as having a house.</p>
<p>In case the household is living in a temporary shack because the household's house is being constructed, the DTV determines the household's housing status as "No, under construction and living in a temporary shack".
