Definition
GEO2_SV2007 identifies the household's municipality within El Salvador in 2007. Municipalities are the second level administrative units of the country, after departments. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO2_SV2007 can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.
