Interviewer instructions
The purpose of this question is to establish the respondent's highest level of education attained and also to produce a "proxy" and check for the literacy question.
It should be emphasized that the full grade or standard must have been completed.
For example, the current grade /standard a person is in ,is not yet completed and therefore cannot be taken as the highest grade/standard completed, e.g. a person presently in standard 4, has completed standard 3.
Enter appropriate code from code list 3. For don't known use code "99". For those who are currently in grade 1, write code "10".And for those in pre-school write code "00".
Check age in column B4 for consistency, particularly for children.
