Interviewer instructions
This is a close-ended question with answers coded by numbers and with ‘Other’ answers for codes “16’, ‘24’, ‘32’.
The interviewer can see a pre-coded part in Question 628 to know method name that the respondent is using in order to put that method name into [METHOD] position in the question. In this question it is important that you should avoid confusing among health sectors providing contraceptive methods. There are three health sectors that are public, private and other source sectors. If the respondent’s answer is not clear enough in order to circle one answer code, you should repeat your question to determine clearly.
This is a common question for all of the contraceptive methods. Therefore, when you ask for methods such as periodic abstinence, withdrawal, instead of asking “where to get that method’, the interviewer should ask: “Where were you instructed to use that method?”
