Mark an 'x' in the appropriate box.<br /><br />a) Owner: The household is owner when the house or a part of the house belongs to one of its members.<br /><br />b) Lodged for Free: The household is 'lodged for free' when it occupies the house or part of the house without being the owner and without paying rent or farm rent. This method of occupation may take place with or without the agreement of the owner of the house.<br /><br />c) Tenant: The household is a tenant household when it pays rent, or payment in kind, every year, month or week for the house or part of the house that it occupies.<br /><br />d) Tenant paying rent for another specific time period: The household is a <span class="lang">fermier</span> when it pays cash for a very specific time period in return for a reduction in rent either in kind or in cash for the house that it occupies.<br /><br />In the case of <span class="lang">fermier</span>, <span class="em">always</span> indicate the number of months of the agreed-upon lease after the amount of the payment.<br /><br />e) Other: Put into this category any household which does not belong to one of the above categories. Make sure to include the declared method of occupation in the space reserved for that purpose.<br /></svar>
