Here you must count all children born alive whom a woman has given birth to at the time of the census (with the exception of still-born children).<br />The total for the question must include all the woman's children born alive, legitimate or illegitimate, whether they were born inside a marriage or from a de facto union at the time of the census or from a form de facto union or marriage, whether the children are alive or not at the time of the census, and no matter where they are living.<br /></svar>
