Interviewer instructions
Estimate duration of ownership of an item in months. If the household has more than 2 same items, estimate 'duration of use' by averaging sum of all items' duration of use. For example, if the household has 2 sofas and one has been used for 8 years while other has been used for 1 year 4 months, estimation of duration of use is as follows:
1. 8*12=96 months
2. 1*12+4=16 months
This household has been using 2 sofas for (96+16)/2=56 months. Therefore, write '56'.
