Definition

§ Interest in cash maybe from bank deposits, or for money loaned to other families

§ When a landowner loaned 5 sacks of rice to another household who later paid 6 sacks of rice after harvest, the value of one sack will be recorded as interest in kind in Column 4.

§ For family members with dollar deposits, estimate the peso equivalent of the interest earned during the period. Use current exchange rate.
