Definition
Demplot : sebidang tanah yang dipakai untuk demonstrasi usaha tani perorangan dengan menerapkan teknologi pertanian pada usaha tani kecil dengan komodite tertentu (ukuran luas tiap unit antara 0,1 ha sampai < 1 Ha).
Demplot ada beberapa macam : meliputi demplot peternakan, perikanan, pertanian dan kehutanan. Khusus untuk demplot kehutanan namanya UPSDA/UPM (UPSDA :Usaha Pelestarian Sumber Daya Alam, UPM : Usaha Pertanian Menetap).
