Definition

Family / relatives of food crops is a family who seeks rice, pulses, horticulture (vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants / drugs), whether or not the plants themselves seek, at their peril in which part or all of their products are sold.
Potential food crops are the types of crops that have the most extensive land in the village / urban villages. If there are two broad crop arealnya same, then the sequence of the plant's potential is determined by the number of households / families involved in it that much more. Fill the potential of rice and pulses, vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants / medicines in the village / This village, which is actually owned by the family who were in the village / sub-district. Excluding farm households outside the village attempted to qualify even though the minimum effort (BMU).

Pertanyaan ini ditanyakan untuk mengetahui potensi pertanian di desa/kelurahan selama setahun terakhir baik jumlah keluarga pertanian maupun jumlah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang pertanian.
Perusahaan pertanian adalah unit usaha yang berbadan hukum baik perusahaan besar/sedang maupun kecil dan bergerak dibidang pertanian.
Luas tanam untuk tanaman semusim dalam satu tahun adalah jumlah dari luas tanaman yang betul-betul ditanam (sebagai tanaman baru), baik penanaman yang bersifat normal maupun penanaman yang dilakukan untuk mengganti tanaman yang dibabat/dimusnahkan (replanting) karena terserang organisma pengganggu atau sebab-sebab lain, walaupun pada bulan tersebut tanaman yang baru ditanam, dibongkar kembali (akan ditanami/replanting).
Contoh tanaman semusim: padi, palawija, sayuran semusim, buah semusim (melon, semangka, blewah)
Produksi selama setahun adalah penjumlahan hasil selama setahun dari setiap tanaman menurut bentuk produksi (hasil) yang diambil berdasarkan luas panen.
Yang dimasud dengan setahun terakhir adalah setahun sebelum masa pencacahan
Misal pencacahan dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2002, maka produksi setahun terakhir yang dicatat adalah mulai dari bulan September 2001.
