Definition
Natural disaster is a natural event that causes misery, damage, loss, and suffering of the population. Excluding catastrophe caused by plant pests or outbreaks. Recorded natural disasters are disasters that occurred in the last 3 years (April 2005 to the time of enumeration). In the event of natural disasters could lead to some natural events.
Example: a volcano during the last 2 months is always erupt and cause earthquakes. For the case of a natural disaster is a volcanic eruption and earthquake.
Landslide is a geological event in which the movement of the ground, such as rocks or clumps fall of the land.
Flooding is the setting of the event mainland because of increased water volume. Flooding can occur due to excessive flood water due to rain somewhere big, overflowing rivers or water dam rupture.
Flash floods are floods in low surface area caused by continuous rains and appear suddenly. Water flows rapidly into the lower area. As a result, all sorts of objects in its path surrounded by water and washed away suddenly everything (wood, rocks, mud, etc.) are skipped.
An earthquake is a vibration that occurs in the earth's surface which is usually caused by the movement of the earth's crust (tectonic plates). Earthquakes can occur when pressure happens because the movement was already too big to be held down. Tectonic earthquakes are caused by a type of earthquake ground while shifting is a type of volcanic earthquakes earthquake caused by a volcanic eruption.
The earthquake and tsunami is a wave that occurs after an earthquake, sea quake, volcano erupts or a meteor hit the ocean. Vertical movement in the earth's crust, may result in rising sea floor or down abruptly, resulting in water balance disorders who are in it. This resulted in the energy flow of sea water, which when it reached the shore a large wave, called a tsunami.
Negative impact of the tsunami is damaging anything in its path, buildings, vegetation and resulted in human casualties and causing inundation, saltwater contamination of agricultural land, soil and water.
Tidal wave is a movement that is bubbling on the surface of the sea and caused huge waves on the beach.
Whirlwind / tornado is wind that occurs in tropical regions hembusannya spinning.
Volcanic eruptions is quite clear.
Forest fires are fires events that no foul play is happening in the forest and polluting fumes that occur both within the village and outside the village.
Column (2): There is / is not. Fill in the appropriate code.
Column (3): Number of Events
The number refers to how many times the incidence of one episode of an event or events that occurred during the last 3 years. An episode of earthquake occurrence for example starting from the first vibration until it ends. It could be within 24 hours of the earthquake happened two times. For volcanic eruptions, one episode is from the first to the last eruption eruption and could take place within a period of several days and counted as 1 (one) time of eruption. Many information events (Column (3)) can be obtained at BMG district / municipality.
Column (4): Genesis Year Peak
Year peak incidence is in the event of natural disasters deadliest matter and soul. Occurred in the period of April 2005 until the time of enumeration. Writing is the last two digits are 05, 06, 07 and 08.
Column (5) and Column (6): Fatalities and Material Loss
Casualties (dead) and losses recorded material refers to all the events of the last 3 years, not only in the peak years.
