222. Permanent Residents. As for the households written under the number one, the total number of the permanent residents shall be written in and for the households written under the number other than one it shall be only the number of their permanent residents.

Definition
This variable indicates the number of residents living in the house in which the household resides if the household is listed as the first one in the house. For subsequent households, the variable indicates only the number of residents in that household.
