Interviewer instructions
Ask for all crops recorded in the list before proceeding to questions 2- 12. Each
question refers to each crop, whether the answer is “ YES” or "NO” the interviewer has to mark
X” in the respective box. The interviewer should ask the respondent for each kind of crop, do not
record the answer on your own without asking.
Other food crops (code 11) includes: millet, wheat, barley, Kaoliang, water-taro, edible
canna,...
Other vegetables, fruits and tubers (code 20) includes various kinds of vegetables, fruits, tubers
used as vegetables which have not been listed in the above table such as: gourd, squash,
pumpkin, legumes (beans), bitter melon, basella alba, amaranth, pot-herbs, lettuce, etc
