<svar a="all" v="CA01A426"><div class="i2"><span class="em">Question 20 -- Indian Band/First Nation Membership</span></div><br /><div class="i3">A Band is a group of First Nation people for whom lands have been set apart and money is held by the Crown. A Band member is an individual who is recognized as being a member of a Band under membership as defined by either the Band itself or the Indian Act of Canada. Individuals should report their Band/First Nation affiliation rather than their Tribal affiliation (for example, "Chemawawin First Nation Band" instead of "Cree").</div><br /></svar>
