Definition
GEO2_GR2001 identifies the household's municipality within Greece in 2001. Municipalities are the second level administrative units of the country, after departments. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO2_GR2001 can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.
