<p>The agent asks the following question: "How many of [Name]?s children were born alive in the last twelve months?" If the answer is "Yes," have sex. The agent fills in the corresponding box. If the answer is "No," the agent enters "0" in the boxes "M" and "F."</p>

<p>A woman can give birth to twins of different sex. In this case, the agent records "1" in the box corresponding to "M" and "1" in the box corresponding to "F."
