<svar a="all" v="PT91A031"><span class="em">Question 9: Water supply system:</span><br /><br />We intend to know what kind of system does the dwelling have for water supply.<br /><br />The first distinction between forms of water supply is whether the dwelling has piped water supply or not.<br /><div class="i1">a) If it has piped water available in the housing unit it can be:</div><br /><div class="i2">1. From a public network<br />2. From a private source</div><br />Note: When a dwelling has piped water in the yard, the kitchen or the bathroom, we must consider it as having piped water available within the housing unit.<br /><div class="i1">b) However, if the dwelling has water in the yard but not in any of the rooms we must consider it as having <span class="ital">Piped water available within the building but outside the housing unit</span>.</div><br />If it does <span class="ital">not have piped water available</span> in the interior of the dwelling or the building, the residents must be supplied water from one of the following methods:<br /><div class="i1">a) Public drinking fountain<br />b) Private well or hole<br />c) Private well with pump<br />d) Public well without pump or surface water fountain<br />e) Other</div><br />Note: If it has various sources of water supply you must consider the one that is used the most for cooking and for hygiene purposes.<br /></svar>
