<p><svar a="all" v="PT91A433"><span class="em">Question 18: Source of livelihood</span><br /><br />For main source of livelihood we understand the main source of income for the <span class="ital">last 12 months</span>.<br /><br />If the enumerated has various sources of income choose only one (the main one).<br /><br />Work: includes people who live mainly from their work, being paid or not. Persons in the compulsory military service, should choose this answer.<br /><br />Temporary benefits:<br /><div class="i1">Unemployment<br />Sickness, accident, etc.<br />Others -- due to accidents, hilliness, maternity leave, etc.</div><br />Pensions -- All persons who receive a pension, and as long as this is not higher than any other income.<br /><br />Social support -- All individuals who receive support from the State, Public Organizations or from other institutions without profit purposes.<br /><br />Household support -- individuals who live supported by the rest of the family (i.e. students, elderly without any pension, etc.)<br /><br /><span class="ital">Attention</span>: Individuals who work without receiving payment on a family economic activity can choose the option "Household support" and not "Work" if they agree that their work is not sufficient to cover for all expenses that the family has with them. This is a situation we may encounter in rural areas.<br /><br />Property or entrepreneurial income -- when the subsistence of an individual is granted by rents from proprieties, bank interests, copyrights, etc.<br /><br />Other cases -- If you encounter a case that does not fit in any of the other modalities please choose this answer (for example: scholarship grants).<br /></svar>
