<p><svar v="PT01A035"><span class="em">Question 6 - Water supply system:</span><br /><div class="i1">When the kitchen and/or bathroom are located in a building separate from the dwelling (in the yard, etc.), which has piped water, the dwelling is considered as having inside water.<br /><br />When the dwelling has piped running water outside (yard, etc.) but not in any of the rooms comprising it (kitchen, water closet or bathroom), it will be considered as having running water in the building, but outside the dwelling.<br />When there is no piped water in the dwelling or in the building and the household resorts to other supply sources, various alternative sources may be used. In this case, the source which is most frequently used to obtain water for cooking and hygiene should be considered.</div><br /></svar>

<svar a="all" v="PT01A035"><div class="i1"><span class="em">Question 6 - Water supply system:</span></div><br /><div class="i2">We intend to know if the dwelling has a water supply system, and if yes we must know what kind of system.<br />The possible modalities for this question are:<br /><br /><span class="em">Piped water available in the housing unit</span></div><br /><div class="i3">From a community scheme<br />From a private source</div><br /><div class="i2"><span class="em">Piped water available within the building but outside the housing unit</span></div><br /><div class="i3">No piped water available but providing from:<br />Public drinking fountain<br />Well, private hole<br />Other</div><br /><div class="i2"><span class="em">Special cases of observation</span><br /><br />When a dwelling has an annex with piped water we must consider as having this situation as having piped water available within the building but outside the housing unit.<br />When a dwelling has piped water in the yard but not in room of the house we must considered it as having piped water available within the building but outside the housing unit.<br />When a dwelling does not have any kind of piped water in its interior, or even inside the building, and for that reason it is used another source of water supply, and it is possible to have various sources of water supply. In those cases you must consider the one that is used the most for cooking and for hygiene purposes.</div><br /></svar>
