Questions and instructions

Question pretext
I will be asking you some questions about the chance or likelihood of certain events regarding HIV/AIDS. Using a scale of 0 to 10, please indicate the chance that an event will occur. A 1 indicates that you think there is a 1 out of 10 chance the event will occur. For example, a 0 indicates that you are certain the event will not happen, a 1 or 2 means you think the event is not likely to happen, but it is still possible, a 5 means an event is just as likely to happen as it does not happen, a 6 means it is slightly more likely to happen than not to happen, and a 10 means you are certain that the event will happen. For example, you may not know now when you will go to the market, but if you think it is very unlikely you will go in the next two days you might say that there is a 1 in 10 chance of rain. If you think there is a very good chance that you will go to the market within two days you might say that there is an 8 in 10 chance of you going.
