Definition
GEO2_GH1984 identifies the household's local authority within Ghana in 1984. Local Authorities are the second level administrative units of the country, after regions. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO2_GH1984 can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.
