Definition
SCHISTODRUGHH indicates whether the household member had recently taken any drug to treat Schistosomiasis, also known as bilharzia.

The World Health Organization describes schistosomiasis as "a disease of poverty that leads to chronic ill-health." This neglected tropical disease is acquired when people come in contact with fresh water carrying parasitic blood flukes. Symptoms include blood in the urine.
