FPKNOMODSRC (V303) indicates whether the woman knew of source from which she believed she could obtain a modern method of family planning. Whether the source existed and whether it could supply the method was not verified.
In the DHS, the following family planning methods are considered modern methods: Pill, IUD, injections, diaphragm, condom, female sterilization, male sterilization, implants, female condom, foam/jelly, lactational amenorrhea, and emergency contraception.
