Definition
ANEMIAREF (HW58) indicates whether the child's parent or guardian agreed to referral of the child for treatment after hemoglobin blood tests revealed anemia. According to the DHS Recode Manuals, "In case where the anemia level is severe, respondents are asked whether this information can be given to a doctor at a specified health facility for follow up."
