Description

Definition
For children whose mothers received antenatal care, ANCRW3 indicates whether they received care at a private polyclinic. This response category is country-specific to Rwanda.

Some samples in the "ANC" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

ANCRW3 is combined with ANCRW4 (private clinic) in ANCPRIVHOS(all private hospitals and clinics) for the 2010 and 2014 Rwanda samples. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using ANCRW3 are encouraged to review ANCPRIVHOS for a more comprehensive response category.
