Definition
For children whose mothers received antenatal care, ANCTZ4 indicates whether they received care at a public "regional referral hospital." This response category is country-specific to Tanzania.

Some samples in the "ANC" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

ANCTZ4 is combined with ANCTZ1 (public regional hospital), ANCTZ2 (public district hospital), and ANCTZ3 (public referral hospital) in ANCPUBHOS (all public hospitals) for the 2015 Tanzania sample. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using ANCTZ4 are encouraged to review ANCPUBHOS for a more comprehensive response category.
