Definition
For children with diarrhea in the past 2 weeks, DIATRJO10 indicates, in response to an open-ended question, whether the child received treatment from a UNHCR (the United Nations Refugee Agency) facility or some other NGO facility. The meaning of "other" must be interpreted relative to the specific response categories included in a particular sample. This response category is country-specific to Jordan.

Some samples in the "DIATR" series include multiple categories that can be consolidated into a single broad response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable, while also preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

DIATRJO10 is combined with DIATRJO9 (UNRWA health center) in DIATRNGO (all NGOs) for the 2017 Jordan sample. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using DIATRJO10 are encouraged to review DIATRNGO for a more comprehensive response category.
