Definition
For young children with a fever or cough in the past 2 weeks, FEVTRBF7 indicates, in response to an open-ended question, whether the child received treatment at a maternal and child health center for this illness. This response category is country-specific to Burkina Faso.
Some samples in the "FEVTR" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.
FEVTRBF7 is combined with FEVTRBF5 (government health center) and FEVTRBF6 (center for health and social promotion) in FEVTRPUBHC (all public health centers) for the 1993 and 1998 Burkina Faso samples.
