Abstract
The article presents an exploration into the political structure of African nations, particularly addressing the representative dynamics of opposition parties within their working systems. The trends within several African countries to limit political opposition are outlined and their resultant damages to their democratic liberalization are analyzed. In depth examinations are offered into similarities and differences in attitudes of elites and the general public towards opposition parties and their impact on the political stabilization of the continent.
