The growth of urban population on this era of very rapid once, is caused by the pull factors of the city itself (Pull factors) and the drivers from the area around the city (Push factors). High growth is also followed by a space needs for shelter and contruction of public fasilities, which resulted in the mergence of uncontrolled densification in urban areas. Densification of this building needs to get special attention because it will impact on the health and comfort of the environment for human habitation. Monitoring the occurrence of densification settlement can be done by looking at the development of the physical condition of buildings in different time periods along with increasing the number and activities of the people. The physical condition of existing buildings in urban areas can be mapped accurately by utilizing the multi-time remote sensing image, the better way to do the monitoring is by remote sensing approach using aerial photographs and Ikonos imagery. Utilization of remote sensing image can present the picture of the object as originally recorded in the same area on a regular basis so that can be compared for a particular purpose.
