Abstract |
Abu-Ghaida & Connolly (2003) report an increase in both the wages and the supply of wage employees with secondary education relative to those with primary education in Zambia between 1991 and 1998 and interprets this as evidence that the relative demand for workers with secondary education has grown over this period. In an attempt to explain the trends described in their paper, this note interprets these movements within the context of the structure and the changes in the structure of Zambia’s economy. |
