Abstract | In the era of globalization, many countries throughout the world have been experiencing dramatic changes in their socio-economic and cultural framework, which establishes new economic trends and development imbalances. Due to this paradigm of human values, each country has been facing the problem of whether to preserve its traditions and customs or to globalize. A new socio-economic class based on knowledge, education and competitive skills has led to the development of key societal forces such as science and technology. This project was designed to encourage Mongolian citizens to support civic education (CE), to unite the activities of governmental and non-governmental organizations as well as individuals who are engaged in the field of CE, to create conditions to improve citizens? position in society through CE; to mobilize the strength of scholars, teachers, other institutions and individuals; to determine the further development of CE and to find beneficial ways of spreading CE through the nation in the era of globalization, focusing on knowledge and education. |
