Abstract | This paper reviews economic studies on rural-urban migration issues in China. The review focuses on three issues: firstly, the explanations for the rural to urban migration, secondly, the interaction between migration and labor market evolution, with special attention to labor market segregation, labor market flexibility and wage differentials, and lastly suggestions for further research topics. |
