Saint Lucia has achieved some notable successes in its HIV response. But more
could be done to protect the welfare, safety and security of children whose lives
are affected by HIV and AIDS. This note suggests key legal reforms – including
some “Quick Wins” – that could contribute to improving the legal protection of
children in Saint Lucia who are orphaned or made vulnerable by AIDS.
