Abstract |
The social changes that have been taking place for many years in Morocco have undoubtedly had a major bearing on the formation of many Moroccan families. Our objective is to investigate the principal socioeducational factors that have influenced the significant transformations within Moroccan marriages recently. We carried out a comparative study in three regions which represent, as far as possible, the socioeconomic and cultural variety that exists in the country. To collect data we have used: a questionnaire, documentary research, direct observation and interviews. We conclude that further modernization in Morocco is possible but that it must respect cultural diversity. |
