Abstract
This study investigated the clothing storage practices of women living in
rural areas of Enugu State. Specifically the study determined: storage
facilities and materials used by the women; ways they store different types
of clothing articles, guidelines they adopt in storage of clothes. The study
adopted a survey research design. The area of study was Enugu State. A
sample of 360 respondents was used for study. Questionnaire was used for
data collection. Data were analyzed using frequency count, and mean.
Findings include, inter alia, eight clothing storage facilities and materials
were used by women. Based on the findings five recommendations for
enhancing the clothing storage practices of the women were made.
