Abstract | This paper explores what a focus on inequality rather than poverty might mean for the way we look at the issues of social protection and health in Mozambique. It does not provide fixed answers on the state of health and well-being in Mozambique today, and even less recommend policy interventions. It only attempts to identify some issues that need more research and reflection. The paper is part of a series of articles resulting from the “seminar on productive social protection action” that IESE’s Research Group on Poverty and Social Protection held on May 12, 2010 |
