Abstract | In this study I examined how household income affects the expenditure on food consumption. Specifically the study is about how income from different source affects consumption expenditure on dairy products. Building on existing research, we consider the different source of incomes in the household that affects consumption expenditure on dairy products. The data is collected from the secondary data i.e. Bhutan Living Standards Survey (BLSS 2012) and analyzed through SPSS method using the linear regression. The paper focuses on two variables which are income as independent variable and food consumption expenditure as dependent variable. The outcome of the study was based on the SPSS generated result that is income has a negligible impact on consumption expenditure in Bhutanese society in terms of dairy products. |
