The construction sector in Ecuador is a multiplying force in the economy,
and a generator to other commercial and productive sectors in the economic
value chain. This reality determines that it is also a great generator of
employment across several economic and productive areas.
The media, the construction chambers, the construction firms, the real
state promoters & developers, and several economic analists, indicate that during
2015 the construction sector experienced significant reduction in demand and
business. However, due to the lack and limitations of official information
regarding these concerns, the hipothesys is if there really is a decline and demand
and business in the construction sector, specifically the construction of houses
and apartments for living use in the región of Guayas in Ecuador.
