The beauty industry in Ecuador is one of the most dynamic and with a major contribution to the manufacturing sector and, therefore, to the Gross Domestic Product of Ecuador. In addition, Ecuadorians consumption habits for beauty products have changed in recent years. On the one hand, the demand for cosmetics is greater and more demanding every day and, on the other hand, trends for natural and domestic products are constantly growing. Therefore, we have found a business opportunity in this industry, because the inhabitants of Ecuador, especially in urban areas like the city of Quito, are willing to try new beauty products that meet their needs. This project is a business plan for the production and merchandising of grape seed oil in the city of Quito. This product is made only with the fruit grape seed, through a process of cold pressing that guarantees oil purity and the effectiveness of its components to combat the effects of aging. The product is aimed at women of the city of Quito, ranging in age between 25 and 40 years and in a middle and upper-middle stratum. This market takes care of their physical appearance, especially his face; uses natural beauty products and is willing to pay a high price for the benefits of a beauty product and its brand. On this basis, the overall marketing strategy is based on differentiation, because the grape seed oil has natural ingredients and represents a substitute for anti-aging products with chemicals. Therefore, promotional efforts will focus on publicizing the oil composition and its competitive advantage over the competition. |
