This research aims to establish the level of incidence rates for informal trade in the
income of the local municipality Píllaro in 2015. The methodology used in this work
was the field research and literature documentary, the approach used was mixed, also
the level of research was descriptive, exploratory and correlational. A survey was
applied to informal traders central town, also an official of GAD Píllaro a survey was
applied was used to determine the impact of variables. Determining rates for
informal trade not significantly affect the revenues of the canton, additionally it is
concluded that by formalizing traders would substantially improve revenues Formal
trade are used to pay the credit granted by the State Bank for the construction of new
San Juan market, funds would be used to cover a greater percentage of debt and help
in adapting and improving sale center. The contribution of the research is as a source
of information for future research in addition to finding solutions around informality.
