In this work done is to analyze and interpret the information reflected in the financial
statements of Bank of Pichincha S.A. during the period 2014 - 2015, by financial analysis
methods to determine the level of liquidity, profitability and this in turn provide for proper
decision making. At present the systematization of processes and technological
advancement for handling financial information - financial companies has become more
demanding when it comes to managing the resources owned financial institutions without
losing the objectives or goals of the same, which allows us to have effective tools, which
allow us to detect problems, evaluate your financial situation, make the respective
corrections and improve performance.
It is important to evaluate a company thoroughly through a financial analysis, as this
determines the current state of the institution through analysis of current and past
financial statements discloses the successes and failures of the decisions taken by the
administration, and can predict the future state of the entity by means of a projection.
The result from that applied to the financial statements analysis allows to give the
administration a report with accurate and timely information; for this reason, this research
is useful for the company the Bank of Pichincha S.A because the analysis and
interpretation of financial statements provides information that will serve you in making
your decisions, and lets you have more control of their accounts.
