Abstract | The Objecive of this study are examines internal factors towards CSR, the external factors and some other related researchs. The difference of this study with previous research is early research was tested only a few variables, both internal and external variables that affect CSR, whereas this research merged many model based on stakeholder theory. The study was conducted on 127 foreign companies in the province of North Sumatera, Indonesian. Variables tested were internal factors and external relations of the CSP through CSR as an intervening variable. Technical analysis is by Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of Amos software version 21. The results showed that factors internal and external factors determinants of CSR among others Company Policy (CP), Company Reputation (CR), Employee Engagement (EE), Government Regulation (GR), Community Empowerment, consumen, and the Mass Media (MP) having an on Corporate Social Performance (CSP) through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The limitation of this study is that the sample is still limited to foreign capital investment companies, so it is feared the sample bias in the company of Domestic Investment (DCI). Then there is also the difficulty in mail survey which resulted in delays in data retrieval.The study also does not address the company's financial data is secondary, so it can not measure the financial performance resulting from the company's CSR spending. This study suggestions for subsequent research is that it can be implemented on the Indonesian stock exchange company, to see the implementation of CSR for public companies in Indonesia esspesially Indonesian Stock Exchange emitens. |
